A Type A Fei Cui imperial jadeite pendant carved with ruyi scrollwork, the looped cloud form that stands for granted wishes in Chinese tradition. The cabochon is claw set within a halo of colourless round-cut stones, with a pave-set disc at the bail, on a fine chain. Fei Cui is the Chinese term for the finest grade of natural jadeite, and Type A denotes jadeite that is natural and untreated.
