Seven uncut diamonds gathered into a single cluster: 0.56 carats of polki, the natural diamond of the Mughal courts, left uncut and unpolished with the facets it formed in the earth.

A cluster is where polki's character shows most: seven stones, seven slightly different shapes, catching the light at seven different angles. The effect is quieter than a modern cluster and harder to look away from, a glow rather than a glitter.
