Four uncut diamonds in a row, each one keeping the shape it formed in the earth. Polki are natural diamonds left uncut and unpolished. The Mughal courts prized them for exactly what modern cutting removes: the stone as it was found.

Set together, four uncut stones do something a row of identical brilliants can't: each catches the light differently, because each is genuinely different. This ring's four will never be repeated in another.
