Diamond Polki Flower Pendant

Uncut diamonds set as a flower. Polki are natural diamonds left uncut and unpolished, keeping the facets they formed in the earth. The Mughal courts prized them for a soft, low light that cut diamonds don't have.

The flower is one of the oldest shapes in Mughal jewellery, and polki suits it: slightly irregular, genuinely individual stones, glowing rather than flashing. Worn close to the skin, it reads as something older than fashion.
